MAGIC HOUR FILMS

Set up in 1984 (as Lise Lense-Møller Film), the company has since its inception produced and co-produced a wealth of films –

both documentaries, feature films and short fiction for children. 

 

Magic Hour Films focuses on high-profile, author-driven creative documentaries and art-house films with international potential.

 

Magic Hour Films co-produces with companies from around the world and has an extended international network.  Most of the films have been internationally distributed and many of them have received a multitude of international awards.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER I LISE LENSE-MØLLER

After working as a freelance producer, AD and production assistant on some
15 feature films, Lise Lense-Møller in 1984 set up her own production company.  

 

She has since then developed and produced a wealth of films

 - documentaries and fiction for the national as well as international markets.

A large number of productions are international co-productions of which many have received international acclaim, the top winner being ‘Burma VJ’ by Anders Østergaard with 52 international awards and an Oscar-nomination and

‘Into Eternity’ by Michael Madsen with 20 international awards.

The company also seeks to develop and promote new talent and Lise consults and supervises talent and up-coming companies. In addition, Lise has been lecturing and leading international workshops continuously over the last 25 years, a.o. as group leader for EAVE since 1993, an educational program for producers, which Lise is presently Head of Studies. 

 

In addition, Lise also runs a small publishing house, The Wisdom Books

and teaches yoga
